Booty in his new bridle
I just realized that everytime I come to see River the first thing out my mouth when I call for him is, "River! Bootybootybooty." Yes, I call River "Booty." Why you ask? Well, it's just like any other nick name, it evolved. Hub says that people in a part of Australia put the word "butt" at the end of people's names as a term of enderment. For example, Hub calls his son Clay, "Claybutt." I don't know why they do this. I don't even know if it's true or if it's just Hub mindwashing me to say embarassing things in public. Regardless, I've caught on and started calling River, "Riverbutt." Then I called him "River Booty Dancer." Now it's "Bootybootybooty" when I call for him and "Booty" for short. Kind of like Darrell's, boogity boggity boogity, but that's too hard to say. During recent nascar coverage they asked Darrell what he would name a Kentucky Derby contender and he said "Big Bad Boogity Boy." Veto! My vote is "Boggity Boogity Boogity," and it won't be a derby contender, it will be a Rolex contender!
